Construction Hoist Project; St Boltophs Tower, London

 

The hoists on this Skanska project are a twin 20/32 hoists with steel bridges accessing directly on to the building, and a single 18/45 passenger hoist with a 2m wide cage on to a common tower. This configuration being chosen due to the restricted width within the roadway.

Inside the building there has been a M23/32 Goods only hoist for access from the loading bay down to the basement levels, and a special modular goods hoist for accessing the upper ground level, made so it can be brought in to the building via the goods hoist from the loading bay.
