Building Confidence Accreditation for UBS Ltd

UBS recently obtained accreditation by Achilles on the Building Confidence Scheme.

The BuildingConfidence scheme is now being joined by some of the major construction companies in the UK including Bovis Lend Lease, Shepherd, Mace, Costain, British Land, Skanska to give them an independently accredited scheme for assessing the operation, procedures and Health Safety and Environmental systems of their supply chain.

The accreditation programme allows UBS to:

Demonstrate our commitment and capability to meet the new standards
Receive a cost-effective review of our management systems
Confirms UBS meets the needs of the BuildingConfidence members and the wider construction industry
Work with the BuildingConfidence members and Achilles to identify areas of improvement.

Achilles and Bovis Lend Lease are working together to encourage other construction industry clients and major contractors to utilise this accreditation process to help:

Create deeper and more sustainable supply relationships in the future
Ensure work is only awarded to the highest performing and most suitable contractors
Reduce costs and duplication of effort in providing information to multiple customers.
