Health & Safety Training; High Rise Projects

UBS Ltd has had a number year’s experience working with construction contractors on many projects.  We are fully aware of the need to plan, co-ordinate and work with the main contractor in order to meet the demands of the project.  Health & Safety has an extremely important part to play within the project.  It is the Company policy to ensure that all reasonable and practicable measures are taken to ensure the Health & Safety of all its employees, the general public and any other person who may be adversely affected by the Company’s operations.

We have recently been working closely with Canary Wharf, Bovis Lend Lease, Skanska, Carillion and Ballymore Properties with regard to raising and setting standards on health, safety and welfare on all projects.

Training within UBS Ltd is ongoing to meet the changes within the industry generally and to ensure that our operatives have the necessary skills and competencies to carry out the job effectively and safely.

All of our operatives and managers have been registered with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) scheme.

We organise safety training from our in-house training company, Nationwide Training Services, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire who can be contacted on +44 (0)1487 815 678.  Nationwide also visits each of our sites at regular intervals for inspections, attend safety meetings and report back to UBS management.  They also audit our operations on site, back at the depots and check and update our paperwork systems.
