Salesforce Tower, also called 110 Bishopsgate and previously known as Heron Tower, is a commercial skyscraper in London. Standing at 230 metres (755 ft) tall, including its 28-metre (92 ft) mast, it is the second tallest structure in the City of London’s financial district and the fifth tallest in Greater London and the UK.
The tower was built by Skanska, who in turn commissioned UBS to manage all hoisting of materials and workers during construction.
UBS Supplied a 5mtr square Common Tower System, complete with two twin high speed passenger and material hoists and a large 3mtr x 5mtr twin mast Mammoth passenger and material hoist with a payload capacity of 4000kg. Other hoists include a twin hoist from the ground floor up to level 30, a basement hoist and top of the building hoist tied to a small Common Tower structure.
