Wardian London is an ultra-luxury residential complex located in the centre of Canary Wharf’s financial district from Eco World-Ballymore and designed by architect firm Glenn Howells. UBS were their Hoist & Access partners.
Over 70% of the apartments at Wardian London are priced above £1.5 million, with penthouses exceeding £5 million, making it the most luxurious residential development in East London. Residents gain exclusive membership to The Wardian Club, which offers a host of premium amenities, including a 24-hour concierge, spa and gym, a 25-metre heated pool, cinema, business centre, dining options, retail spaces, and an observation deck.
UBS supplied cutting-edge hoisting solutions for the Wardian project, providing a Jumbo Hoist with a Common Tower and Twin Hoist 27/38NC for both the East and West towers. The Wardian East tower, standing at 190 meters with 55 floors, and the Wardian West tower, at 177 meters with 50 floors, benefited from UBS’s high-capacity hoisting systems. These solutions were crucial in efficiently transporting materials across the towers, ensuring smooth operations throughout the construction process and meeting the project's demanding timelines.
